A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
Today, September 13, marks the commemoration of the 37th Sipat (cessation of hostilities) Anniversary.
September 13, 1986 paved the way towards lasting peace in the Cordillera when the Cordillera People’s Liberation Army (CPLA) led by Fr. Conrado Balweg and the Philippine government through former President Corazon Aquino signed the Mount Data Sipat or peace accord.
