On March 17, 2023, the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) Department took a commendable initiative by conducting its first-ever Practice Test for first-year BPEd students. The goal of this initiative was to provide students with an opportunity to prepare themselves for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), an important exam that aspiring teachers must pass to become licensed teachers.
It is a formidable challenge that requires adequate preparation, dedicated study, unwavering determination, and intervention to ensure a high passing rate in the LET. The BPEd department recognized the significance of this exam and decided to conduct a Practice Test for its students to help them prepare for it. The Practice Test aimed to simulate the actual LET by covering topics that are commonly included in the exam.
The BPEd students who took the Practice Test were able to experience firsthand the kind of questions they may encounter in the actual LET. The students who took the Practice Test appreciated the BPEd Department’s initiative and found the experience to be helpful. By taking the Practice Test, the students could familiarize themselves with the actual LET’s time constraints and format, allowing them to manage their time better during the exam. Additionally, the test provided them with a glimpse into the kind of questions they may encounter in the actual LET.
