The BSIT and ICT Department hosted a specialized re-training program on April 3 at the EKB Auditorium, ASC-Luna Campus, to bolster task management, communication, and workflow efficiency. Designed for faculty members from the BTVTED, BSA, and BSABE programs, the session focused on integrating the Learning Management System (LMS) with Office 365 tools.
Along with a team of subject matter experts, namely BSIT Instructor Darwin G. Raralio, Computer Operations Technician Dan Erick Mapa, and System & Web Administrator Roderick Torrado, the session was led by Chief Information Officer, Magilyn A. Racacho.
Instructor Raralio kicked off the program by providing an overview of Office 365 tools, such as Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook, and their pivotal role in enhancing collaboration and LMS integration while Torrado wrapped up the session by demonstrating how to leverage LMS features, including the creation of MS Forms and the effective assignment and tracking of course content.
The integration of Office 365 tools—such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint—with LMS activities is a game-changer for faculty and students alike. These tools not only improve team collaboration but also facilitate smoother access to course materials, participation in discussions, and submission of assignments, creating a more streamlined and productive learning environment.
This re-training initiative underscores ASC’s commitment to equipping faculty with the necessary technological skills to foster a more dynamic and efficient educational experience for all stakeholders.
