Strengthening its global academic network, Dah-Ye University (DYU) engaged with students, graduates, faculty, and staff of Apayao State College (ASC) during an orientation at the EKB Auditorium, ASC-Luna Campus, on February 11.

Leading the DYU delegation were Vice President Shih-Jen Yeh, Dean of the Office of Foreign Affairs Shih-Chieh Jack Lee, and Director of the Center for International Affairs Hsuan-Lun Lu, along with faculty members Hu Yu Tung, Huang Yi Chun (Jill), Cho Yen You (Scott), and Tseng Cheng Mao, PhD.

ASC President Dr. John N. Cabansag highlighted the importance of fostering international partnerships, emphasizing the collaboration’s potential to enhance student learning, research, and career opportunities. “This initiative will not only boost our students’ academic performance but also provide them with global exposure, industry training, and internship opportunities in Taiwan,” he stated.

The visit introduced a range of academic collaboration prospects, including faculty and student exchanges, joint research, participation in international conferences, specialized academic programs, study-abroad initiatives, cultural exchanges, field visits, and collaborative grant applications.

ASC International Affairs and Linkages Office Director Dr. Philip Constantine L. Mandac emphasized the relevance of the DYU INTENSE Program, which offers ASC students enhanced academic training and industrial job placements in Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ronald O. Ocampo, ASC Vice President for Academics, Research, Development, and Extension Services, thanked DYU officials and Hon. Governor Elias C. Bulut, Jr. for their unwavering support in advancing ASC’s international academic partnerships.

The event was made possible through the coordination of ASC’s International Affairs and Linkages Office, Mr. Jacky Huang, and Mr. Christopher Lu.
