Benguet State University (BSU) and the Cordillera Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development (CorCAARRD) Consortium Member Institution (CMI) have formally sealed a Memorandum of Commitment to manage and implement the Enhanced Regional Collaborative Program (ERCP) in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
Representatives from the two institutions—Dr. John N. Cabansag, College President of Apayao State College, and Mr. Fredie Jun Galino Onio of Benguet State University officially sealed the commitment during the event. It was witnessed by Dr. Ronald Ocampo, Vice President for Academics, Research, and Development, and Extension Services; Dr. Maria Christina Z. Manicad, Director for Research, Development, and Special Projects; Dr. Mirasol Agpuldo, Director for Extension and KTM; and other institutional staff.
The partnership, aimed at strengthening regional development in CAR by focusing on capacity building for local institutions and addressing key regional development challenges, highlights the significance of community engagement towards sustainable development practices.
The signing took place on December 10 at the Conference Hall, RDE Building, ASC-Luna Campus.
