In the opening meeting, President John N. Cabansag expressed his gratitude and optimism that awaits the College as he mentioned the processes involved in the preparation beginning in January that have been spearheaded by the Quality Assurance Office. From the conduct of internal audit, ISO retooling, and management review to the recent audit simulation, he acknowledged the efforts of all employees and staff as a manifestation of commitment to maintain ISO standards.
The auditors are expected to examine today the College’s management system to verify effectiveness and compliance with the ISO standard through interviews, document review, and observing processes to gather evidence of conformity.
Among the areas being visited are student services (guidance, health services, sports services, socio-cultural services), leadership-planning to address risk & opportunities, quality objectives, and management review, academic-curriculum development, control of documented information, internal audit, research and development, human resource competency and awareness, and NSTP.
