Presidents of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) nationwide convened on December 3, 2024, for the 4th Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Executive Board Meeting and Year-End Gathering held at the Muralla Ballroom, Bayleaf Hotel, Intramuros, Manila.
ASC President John N. Cabansag noted significant updates from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) such as the Phase 2 implementation of the Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards for SUCs (ROSSS) and other Higher Education matters.
Gerald R. Janda, Director of Organization, Position Classification, and Compensation Bureau (OPCCB)-DBM highlighted developments under the Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards for SUCs (ROSSS) Phase 2, focusing on streamlining organizational frameworks and enhancing compensation systems within SUCs.
The meeting served as a collaborative platform for strategic planning and discussions aimed at bolstering operational efficiency and academic excellence across SUCs.
Beyond the exchange of ideas, the event also strengthened camaraderie among SUC leaders, further solidifying PASUC’s commitment to fostering quality education and institutional development in the country.
