Apayao State College (ASC) hosted the 2nd Quarter Regional Research and Development Coordinating Council (RRDCC) Meeting on July 24 at EKB Auditorium, ASC-Luna Campus.

The gathering aimed to synchronize regional efforts in the Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources (AANR) sector with the national research and development (R&D) priorities.

In attendance were representatives from Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs), including members of the Regional Research and Development Coordinating Council (RRDC), secretariats of the Cordillera Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development (CorCAARRD), officials and staff from ASC, and other affiliated partners.

The agenda focused on the 2025 consortium highlights of accomplishments, updates from the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), and other key developments aligned with the consortium’s strategic goals.

Mountain Province State University (MPSU) is set to host the next meeting in November, continuing the momentum of inter-agency cooperation.

In the afternoon, participants conducted benchmarking visits to several learning sites, including the ASC-Natural Textile Fiber Innovation Hub (NTFIH), Revelyn Duldulao’s Farm, and Maquera Agri-Farm.
