ASC-BPEd and BSU-CHK Forge Partnership
Yesterday, August 19, the Apayao State College (ASC) Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) and the Benguet State University (BSU) College of Human Kinetics (CHK) officially entered into a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at BSU in La Trinidad, Benguet.
This partnership was solidified by ASC President John N. Cabansag and BSU President Felipe S. Comila, alongside Marfred T. Sanchez, ASC-BPEd Program Chair, and Dr. Marlon S. Tabdi, BSU-CHK Director.
The MOU opens doors for opportunities in the field of physical education and human kinetics that cover the following:
Academic Partnerships: Sharing resources and best practices to enhance curricula
Student & Faculty Exchanges: Enabling short-term and long-term reciprocal exchanges
Research Collaboration: Identifying and conducting joint research projects, with shared findings through publications and presentations
Extension Activities: Collaborating on community outreach initiatives, workshops, and seminars
Dr. Philip Constantine L. Mandac, Director for International Affairs and Linkages (IAL), Jaylord Q. Guillermo, BPEd Faculty & Sports Coordinator (Luna Campus), Diether John S. Ballinan, BPEd Faculty and Dennis T. Dizon, IAL Staff, witnessed the noteworthy engagement together with BSU Officials and CHK faculty & staff.
