Apayao State College (ASC) and Kalinga State University (KSU) have officially entered into a collaborative partnership with the signing of two significant Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) aimed at enhancing the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program offered at ASC Conner Main Extension Campus.
Held on May 29 at KSU, the signing marked a pivotal step towards academic and institutional collaboration, as both parties agreed on two key initiatives: Adjunct Faculty Deployment and Sharing of Laboratory Equipment.
KSU will designate Engr Rhonjohn R. Garming, DEM, to serve as adjunct faculty to support the delivery of specialized courses under ASC’s BSCE program.
In a move to enrich the practical learning experience of students, KSU has agreed to provide ASC with access to its Civil Engineering laboratory facilities and equipment. This arrangement will allow ASC students to engage in hands-on experiments, structural testing, and other laboratory activities aligned with national engineering standards.
Representing ASC, Dr. Randy A. Cabilatazan, Campus Academic Dean, and from KSU, Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor, University President, signed the MOAs in the presence of Engr. Arnold M. Francisco, CE Chairperson; Engr. Eugenia Bagyon, CE faculty; and Claudine A. Francisco, Librarian, along with Engr. Garming of KSU.
