The Environmental Sustainability and Governance (ESG) Office of Apayao State College (ASC) spearheaded a crucial discussion on the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and the ongoing refinement of the ASC Environmental Code.

Held on February 4, at the RDE building Conference Hall in ASC-Luna Campus, the session—led by Dr. David A. Rodolfo, ESG Officer—focused on developing strategies that align sustainable development with environmental stewardship, positioning the ASC Environmental Code as a key framework for future initiatives.

Key Recommendations from the deliberations:

🔹 Centralized waste management system for better collection and segregation.

🔹 Incorporation of student boarding house visitations under the Student Affairs and Services (SAS) responsibilities.

🔹 Strengthening campus greening efforts to enhance the institution’s landscape.

🔹 Strategic placement of a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) near school facilities for improved accessibility.

With these proactive measures, ASC continues its commitment to fostering an environmentally responsible academic community.
