Putting the theme, β€œGalaw: Laro at Sayaw” in motion, the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) students performed different dances and engaged in competitive interaction through indigenous games on May 29 at the EKB Auditorium, ASC-Luna Campus.

Headed by Ms. Marlyn Marcos, Mr. Judel Tabason, and Mr. Diether John Ballinan, the Cordillera Festival, Hip-Hop, Ragragsakan, Uya Uy, and Mass Dance were showcased by BPEd sophomores as culminating activities. Beyond nurturing cultural heritage, their strength and determination were tested by playing tug of war, arm wrestling, and coconut shell kadang-kadang.

In his speech, Mr. Tabason rooted the reflection of preserving the Cordillera dances and traditions, upholding respect from previous generations, and constantly igniting the flame for the next milestone. β€œEach step, each gesture, carries a legacy of communal harmony, respect for nature, and the timeless pursuit of unity and peace.”

Likewise, Ms. Ashlyne Mabanag, a second-year student presented the purpose of the activity Before concluding the activity, Ms. Marcos acknowledged the students for their passion and skills related to their identified potential.
