Business Administration Department engages in reviews and revisions of curriculum, dives into employment expertise
Networking an entrepreneurial landscape for earning integral management experiences, the Business Administration Department of Apayao State College, Luna Campus revamped its curriculum and BS in Business Administration program’s objectives, held at RDE Conference Hall on April 12.
During their discussions, faculty members comprehensively navigated what subject/s should be removed, switched into a more suitable semester, retained, and developed sequencing subjects, mapping a systemized scheme in which students can execute prior knowledge and efficiently coordinate their business skills.
Ms. Kriselle Donna A. Baletbet, Program Chair, solidified leadership in adapting to the dynamic market demands, assisting students in securing internships crucial for their preferred job prospects.
Apart from revising and reviewing their curriculum, the program’s objectives were given attention. Junior students of BSBA also shared their viewpoints on the curriculum.

Elementary Education Program of ASC scopes curriculum, aligns instruction with 21st century skills
The Elementary Education Program of Apayao State College, Luna Campus, has climbed the ladder in forwarding lifelong learning. On April 16, they thoroughly embedded reviews and potential modifications of their curriculum, which were addressed in their office.
The faculty members’ obtained findings included retaining and adding subjects, changing course codes, and shifting subjects to a relevant semester.
Dr. Gem Micah S. Morales, Program Chair of BEED, integrated the navigation of diverse classrooms where 21st century students can expose their curiosity, creativity, and willingness to interconnect theoretical and practical applications. “The sole purpose of the curriculum review is on improving the curriculum that addresses the needs of the 21st century pre-service teachers which will eventually hone the needed skills of the future generation,” she said.

Information Technology Department hinges on curriculum modifications
Embracing a dynamic environment, virtual pedagogical teachings acquire preparation and suitable tools for teachers. The Information Technology Department sparked a recommended curriculum for the academic year 2024-2025, which was discussed in their office on April 17.
Faculty members, headed by Mr. Lloyd Mark Razalan, Program Chair, exchanged their intakes and devised two bridging courses that require a laboratory. Additionally, certain general subjects will be moved into a relevant semester, one subject course will be reinstated, and selected subjects will be integrated. After the compilation of reviews, Dr. Ronald Ocampo, VPARDES, also gave his input on turning Physical Education into Physical Activities Towards Health and Fitness (PATHFit), which was based on CMO 40, Series of 2021.

BTVTEd reappraises curriculum, tailoring insightful changes
Ensuring increased engagement and instructional practices, the Technical Vocational Teacher Department of Apayao State College, Luna Campus, scrutinized their curriculum, which took place at RDE Conference Hall on April 18.
The review findings by the faculty members covered changing some General Education subjects and course codes, enhancing course descriptions, and shifting subjects into an earlier semester.
Ms Pearl Jane P. Quinto, Program Chair of BTVTEd, stressed the purpose of the curriculum, laddering students’ performance tasks and applicable teaching strategies for well-developed employment in their selected careers. “The technical vocational field is vital for the future workforce of the country. I believe that students should not just develop their intellectual skills but also their capabilities to work in the industry that requires technical skills,” she expressed.

BEEd revises curriculum, maps integral updated content
Recognizing a coherent examining, teaching, and learning quality education, the Department of Elementary Education from Apayao State College – Conner Campus conducted a curriculum review held at the Audio-Visual Room on April 19, 2024.
Insightful changes were removing and adding subject/s. Faculty members also discussed the presentation of new issuances as the foundation for curriculum review and examined the similarities and differences between the CMOs and the existing curriculum.
