In a formal call, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Sericulture Research and Development Institute (DMMSU-SRDI) visited Apayao State College, Luna Campus. They gathered together at the IPTBM Office, RDE Building, with the aim of catalyzing research and development.

During their discussion, they underscored a potential partnership between two institutions on the “Sericulture Project.” With thorough, careful production and facilitating of particular technology, they also pointed out “germplasm collection and mulberry.”

The scientific visit comprised Dr. Gerardo Dacayanan, Ms. Janet Manuel, Mr. Julius Peter Hufalar, Prof. Emerita Galiste, University Director of Extension of DMMSU-SRDI, Dr. Ronald Ocampo, VP for Academics, Research & Development and Extension Services, and Dr. Gerry Digma, the Sericulture Project Leader.
