ASC Luna Campus – November 23, 2023
The Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) of the Commission on Higher Education-Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) evaluated the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) program offered in ASC-Luna Campus as generally compliant with the minimum requirements set by CHED’s Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSGs).
The RQAT’s evaluation was a result of the onsite visit and inspection on November 23, 2023, pre-requisite to the issuance of a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
Earlier on the scheduled visit, Academic Dean Dr. Rema Bascos-Ocampo warmly welcomed the RQAT evaluators setting a positive tone followed by the message of the College President, Dr. John N. Cabansag. In his message, he assured that the evaluation results and feedback will translate into strategic plans and practices, aiming for the continuous improvement and development of both the program and the College.
After the presentation of CHED guidelines on assessment and evaluation, the RQAT led by Dr. Mariano D. Marchan Jr. together with Dr. Rex John G. Bawang, and Dr. Marlon S. Tabdi conducted the ocular inspection of equipment and facilities utilized by the BPEd program followed by the evaluation of documents and finally an interview session with the program chair and the faculty.
With the compliance report from RQAT through the pronouncement of Dr. Marlon S. Tabdi, President Cabansag, extended his heartfelt gratitude to the evaluators, the campus officials, BPEd faculty & staff, and the exceptional BPEd students who added flair with their impressive performance during the intermission number.
The exit conference concluded with the remarks of Prof. Luningning B. Aribbay, Director for Quality Assurance, commending the collective efforts of everyone involved that ensured the success of the RQAT visit.
