From its modest beginnings to its present stature as Apayao State College (ASC), generations of alumni gathered to celebrate a shared legacy during the ASC Alumni Homecoming 2025, held on December 18 at the EKB Auditorium, ASC–Luna Campus.
Alumni batches spanning 1973 to 2025 returned to where their formative academic journeys began, transforming the venue into a vibrant tapestry of memories, laughter, and renewed connections.
Guided by the theme “Homegrown Hearts: Honoring Our Past, Inspiring Our Future,” ASC President John N. Cabansag conveyed his optimism and pride in his message, encouraging alumni to celebrate the evening and cherish the bonds that continue to unite the ASC community. His words echoed the theme’s call to honor the past while helping shape the institution’s future.
Dr. Imelda Taguiam, Alumni Coordinator, formally acknowledged the participating batches, recognizing their presence as a testament to ASC’s lasting influence. Meanwhile, Hon. Remy Albano, President of the ASC Federated Alumni Association, welcomed the alumni, emphasizing unity, shared responsibility, and the important role graduates play in sustaining the college’s growth and legacy.
The evening transitioned into an acquaintance party, rekindling old friendships and forging new connections across batches. Festivities were further enlivened by the Mr. and Ms. Alumni segment, which added excitement, elegance, and celebratory energy to the reunion.
A significant highlight of the program was the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the ASC Luna Campus Alumni Association, presided over by Dr. Cabansag. The ceremony marked a renewed chapter of leadership, signaling the alumni’s readiness to further strengthen engagement and service to the college and its students.
In her closing message, Prof. Evelyn P. Alvarez, Director for Student Affairs and Services, expressed deep gratitude to the alumni for their active participation and unwavering support.
