The Online AACCUP Accreditation 3rd Survey Visit Phase 2 for two Graduate School programs offered at Apayao State College – Conner Campus officially opened today, November 5, through an onsite and online platform, held at the QA Hall, RDE Building.
Scheduled from November 5–7, the online survey visit of the Master of Arts in Education (MAEd, Level III Phase 2) and the Master in Public Administration (MPA, Level III Phase 2 Revisit) conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. is jointly facilitated by the Quality Assurance Office and the Graduate School – Conner Campus.
The program began with an invocation led by Mr. Kenneth M. Amangao, OIC–Guidance Counselor, followed by the welcome remarks delivered by Dr. Ronald O. Ocampo, Vice President for Academics, Research, Development, and Extension Services.
In his message, President John N. Cabansag underscored the importance of accreditation in sustaining and elevating institutional quality and standards.
“We stand ready to provide full transparency and cooperation throughout the process, confident that your insights will help us strengthen our academic programs, faculty capabilities, resources, and student support systems,” Pres. Cabansag remarked.
QA Director May-Ann H. Galande introduced Dr. Laureana M. Lingan, Overall Coordinator and Team Leader for the MAEd Program, who presented the AACCUP Team:
• Dr. Erlinda S. Jiz de Ortega – Camarines Norte State College, Lead Accreditor (MAEd Program)
• Dr. Donna D. Panganiban – Oriental Mindoro State College, Team Leader (MPA Program)
• Dr. Rose Anna L. Refuerzo – Eastern Visayas State University, Lead Accreditor (MPA Program)
• Ms. Mariter S. Asur – Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology, Team Librarian (MAEd & MPA Programs)
Meanwhile, Dr. Reymarie M. Caban, OIC of the Office of the Graduate School Dean, introduced the Accreditation Task Force/Local Counterparts for the four key areas: Instruction, Research, Faculty Development, and Library.

In her Statement of Purpose, Dr. Lingan emphasized that the survey visit seeks to determine whether the academic programs meet AACCUP’s standards and CHED’s minimum requirements.
Following the opening program, breakout sessions were conducted wherein accreditors interviewed their local counterparts.
