The Provincial Government of Apayao (PGA) formally recognized Apayao State College (ASC) for its outstanding international achievements, presenting a Plaque of Recognition during the Monday Flag-Raising Ceremony today, August 18, at the ASC-Luna Campus, San Isidro Sur.
ASC President Dr. John N. Cabansag accepted the award on behalf of the college, expressing deep gratitude to the PGA for its continued support in advancing the institution’s mission and global standing.
The recognition comes in light of ASC’s inclusion in the prestigious 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), where the institution secured a place among the Top 400 Innovative Universities worldwide.
Notably, ASC ranked 7th in Entrepreneurial Spirit (A2), 14th in Crisis Management (A5), and 11th in Cost-Benefit Management (B7). Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr. underscored the vital role of collective effort and institutional support in the ongoing push to elevate ASC into full university status.
