In preparation for their transition to college life, first-year students of ASC–Luna Campus participated in a three-day general orientation held at the EKB Auditorium from July 29 to 31.
Organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services, the orientation introduced students to the College’s rich history, mission, vision, and core values.
They were also briefed on a range of student support services, including the Student Code of Conduct and disciplinary procedures, the Scholarship Unit, Registrar’s Office, Health Services, Guidance and Counseling Services, Socio-Cultural Unit, Sports Development Office, and ICT services—particularly the use of Microsoft 365.
Each academic department presented its program chairpersons and faculty members, while students were also introduced to the College and Campus officials, as well as non-teaching personnel.
ASC President Dr. John N. Cabansag welcomed the new students and expressed optimism for their academic journey.
Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Evelyn P. Alvarez, Director of SAS, noted that students are not just in college to earn a degree, but to become future educators and professionals who will serve with excellence and heart.
According to the Registrar’s Office, as of July 29, a total of 1,307 first-year students had officially enrolled.
Enrollment is currently ongoing.
