In a strong display of promise for the next generation of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) Program held its 1st Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremony for 20 interns at the Conference Hall, ASC-Luna Campus, on June 11.
Engr. Arjay A. Nejana, OJT Coordinator, formally presented the interns, highlighting the discipline and mentorship that have shaped their journey and will continue to guide them throughout their internship career.
Ms. Lovely D. Barbosa, speaking on behalf of the interns, expressed her gratitude to the faculty, proud parents, and fellow interns who supported her journey as an ABE student.
Mr. Fernando G. Barbosa, representing the parents, shared the challenges and sacrifices made by families in support of their children’s education and dreams.
Ms. Rudilyn M. Balitnang led the interns in the Vow of Commitment, symbolizing their readiness to uphold the ethical and professional standards of their chosen field.
With evident pride, Engr. Claire Aquino, BSABE Program Chair, addressed the interns, recognizing them as the first cohort to receive both the symbolic hard hat and official program pin under the BSABE banner.
