Congratulations to Apayao State College for successfully passing the ISO 9001:2015 Stage 2 2nd Surveillance Audit!
The recognition was awarded on April 8 during the closing meeting held at the EKB Sr. Auditorium in ASC Luna Campus. Facilitated by the ASC Quality Assurance Office, this recertification, issued by DQS Certification Phil’s Inc., one of the leading international certification companies for management systems, serves as tangible proof that ASC is committed to maintaining a management system that meets the internationally recognized ISO 9001 standard.
The areas audited included Research and Development, Instruction (management of learning and instructional material development), Leadership, Extension Services, Faculty & Student Performance, Internal Audit & Corrective Actions, Production, Infrastructure & Development, and Quality Assurance.
On behalf of the college, campus officials, employees, and students, ASC President John N. Cabansag expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the DQS auditors, namely Jenny M. Barachina (Audit Team Leader), Catherine T. Sigua, and Ivy Macatangay for providing value-adding insights and guidance that will help ASC continuously improve its processes and gain a competitive edge, ultimately enhancing customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
