To strengthen the research writing skills of postgraduate students and integrate the spectrum of research ethics, the Apayao State College Graduate School Department led a Research Ethics and Vancouver Referencing seminar at the Conference Hall, RDE Building in Luna Campus, on March 16.
With featured research experts, Dr. Maria Christina Z. Manicad, Professor III and Director for Research, Development, and Special Projects, discussed the fundamental aspects of ethics in research, while Dr. Agustina G. Pattung, Professor IV and Associate Dean of Conner Campus, shared the attributes of writing a thesis using the Vancouver format.
Stemming from the desired outcomes, Dr. Reymarie Caban, Associate Dean of Graduate School at this institution, charted the said seminar. During her speech, she acknowledged the graduate school faculty members and students, provided a welcoming remark, and expounded the rationale of the activity. Meanwhile, Dr. Ronaldo Ocampo conveyed the significance of a thesis as a primary requirement for graduation.
Participants were MAEd and MPA students from ASC, Luna Campus, who are undertaking the subject, Thesis Writing during the second semester, graduate school faculty, and members of the thesis advisory committee. Informed attendees were college and campus officials who also participated in the seminar.
