The Luna Municipal Police Station, headed by Deputy Chief of Police for Operations Ronald S. Balag, has intensified its efforts to ensure the safety of participating delegations from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). Through regular checkpoints and stringent enforcement of RA 4136, also known as the “Land Transportation and Traffic Code,” the police aim to prevent potential vehicular accidents and uphold order on the roads. With Luna Municipality grappling with a high incidence of traffic mishaps, Deputy Balag underscores the critical need for these measures. By prioritizing road safety, the police are committed to providing a secure environment for both athletes and SUC delegations during the event.
