ASC – an active partner of the
Apayao-Abulog River Protection

Apayao State College – through the Department of Forestry, received a Plaque of Recognition from the DENR-PENRO, Apayao as an active partner of the said agency in the protection and conservation of the APAYAO-Abulog River (AAR) during the Blessing and Inauguration Ceremony of the DENR-PENRO Building last October 14, 2022, at the PENRO, Luna, Apayao. This signifies the College’s commitment to public responsibility as a higher education provider. The effort to protect the AAR paved the way to being the official entry to the National Competition for R.I.V.E.R. for Life Award 2021.

ASC recognized during the 36th ATI Anniversary

Apayao State College – through the Extension Unit, was acknowledged as a proactive partner in providing agricultural training and extension services to clients in the Cordillera Administrative Region. The Certificate of recognition was awarded by the Agricultural Training Institute last January 2023 during the 36th ATI Anniversary at ATI-RTC-CAR, BSU Compound. This is a manifestation that the College upholds its commitment to augmenting the knowledge and skills of its clients to attain an improved quality of life.

Championing community empowerment

Apayao State College was recognized by the Barangay Local Government Unit of Kagarawan for bringing its services closer to the community through training and other extension services last April 8, 2022, at Karagawan, Kabugao, Apayao. The College’s Extension Unit supports its community through its various extension services and community engagement.
