The BS Forestry Department of Apayao State College was able to generate 28 new Licensed Foresters of its forty-four (44) examinees, or 63.33% passing rate, outperforming the 54.0% national passing rate. Reiterating further, out of twenty-four (24) first-time takers, twenty (20) of them surmounted the Licensure Exam, gaining a whopping 83.33% passing rate.
The Forester Licensure Exam (FLE) was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission last October 27-28, 2022, at Tuguegarao City and released the results in October 2022.
The high passing rate of the new takers was attributed to one of the BS Forestry Department’s best practices in conducting a six-week In-house Review. This success was possible through the leadership and support of the College President, Dr. John N. Cabansag, and the commitment of the faculty of the BS Forestry Department.
