The Apayao State College Senior High School (SHS) won 1st Runner-up in the 1st Conner Rescue Olympics held at the Municipality of Conner on September 20, 2023.
The Rescuelympics Committee released the official and final result after a unanimous decision by the umpires from the BFP, MDRRM/MENRO and DepEd DRRM focal person.
Champion: Cupis National High School
1st Runner-up: Apayao State College-SHS
2nd Runner up: Conner National High School
3rd Runner-up: Ili National High School

The Rescuelympics committee expressed gratitude to all participants for their perseverance, relentless passion, and commitment to Disaster Risk Reduction.
ASC officials and employees also recognized the all out support of SHS Coordinator Zenaida Cruz, Madelyn Maslang (SAS Director), Criserna Ruth Songgadan (OIC- Guidance Counselor/Mighty Responder Consultant), Yolanda Dalingay (College Nurse), Hazel Faith Cortel (Campus Nurse), Jinky Caole (SHS Staff), and the ASC Mighty Responders.
The said event forms part of the lineup of activities during the 10th Conner Panagbunga Festival that commenced yesterday.
