Apayao State College Cordi 101 writers participated in the PROJECT CORDILLERA HERITAGE-AIM (Advancement of Instructional Materials) with the theme FRAMING CORDI 101 (Fortifying, Reinforcing, and Adapting Methodolgies as Impetus to Narratives and Goals of Cordillera HERITAGE 101) on March 22-23 at Ifugao State University-Hapao Campus, Hungduan, Ifugao and Launching of Region-wide Activities on March 24 at IFugao State University-Main Campus, Nayon, Lamut, Ifugao.
Day 1, which included the Content Review and (Re) aligning of Learning Outcomes and Reinforcing Activities in Cordillera HERITAGE Workbook, was unwrapped with a welcome program at IFSU-Hapao Campus. Mr. Jude Ambucay, CHED CAR Education Program Specialist, presented the Evaluator’s Feedback. Dr. Noel Begnalen presented the Survey Tool on Cordi 101. The program also included a courtesy call to the Municipal Mayor and a tour to the historical sites and tourist spots of Hungduan, Ifugao, such as the Spiderweb-like Rice Terraces, Rice Terraces and Bogyah Hot Spring. A fellowship dinner followed.
Author’s Meeting on Workbook Timetable and Concerns and the plenary on FRAMING CORDI 101 which were held after the dinner and were led by Dr. Menzie Kuengan and CHED-CAR Team and Dr. Serafin L. Ngohayon and the Editorial Team, were highlighted with the breakout session per chapter to frame learning outcomes and reinforcing activites per lesson. Dr. Bernadette Pal-ec, Education Supervisor, gave emphasis on Outcomes-based Education.
Subsequently, on March 24, 2023, the team of CORDI 101 writers participated in the Regional Launching of the CHED Initiated Programs to include Masaganang CORDILLERA, Project STORE, Cordillera HERITAGE 101 and launching of the CARASUC Hymn through a rendition by the MPSPC Minstrels. Dr. Randy Cabilatazan represented Dr. John N. Cabansag in the Commitment Signing.
