The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the September 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), showing the passing rates of Apayao State College’s Conner and Luna campuses. This year’s LET was administered in the middle of a pandemic, with many aspiring teachers facing difficulties in preparing for the exam due to the challenging circumstances.
For the Bachelor of Elementary Education program, the Conner campus had 36 passers out of 73 takers, with 11 passing for the first time and 25 passing for repeaters. The Luna campus had 62 passers out of 109 takers, with 27 passing for the first time and 35 passing for repeaters. Conner campus has a passing rate of 49.32%, 57. 98% for first time takers and 46. 30% for repeaters. Luna campus has a passing rate of 56. 88% with 77. 14% for first time takers and 47.30% for repeaters.
For the Bachelor of Secondary Education program, the Conner campus had 40 passers out of 167 takers, with 21 passing for the first time and 19 passing for repeaters. The Luna campus had 53 passers out of 146 takers, with 38 passing for the first time and 15 passing for repeaters. Luna campus had a passing rate of 36. 30% with 52. 78% for first time takers and 20. 27% for repeaters. Conner Campus had a passing rate of 23. 95% with 31. 82% for first time takers and 18. 81% for repeaters.
The national passing rate for the Bachelor of Elementary Education program is 54.43%, while the national passing rate for the Bachelor of Secondary Education program is 50.94%.
