In a strategic effort to align with healthcare needs and guide new pathways for aspiring nursing professionals, a two-day consultation workshop was held at the Conference Hall, RDE Building, ASC-Luna Campus on January 28-29.

Facilitated by the Vice President for Academics, Research Development and Extension Services Office, Dr. Ronald O. Ocampo highlighted the significance of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

“Let us work together with passion and purpose, ensuring that our future nurses will not only be well-equipped with knowledge and skills but will also embody the spirit of service and compassion that our communities so desperately need,” he expressed.

The workshop featured resource speakers from the College of Health Sciences (CHS) of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU). These are Dr. Elmer A. Santos for Developing Authentic Clinical Assessment and Functionally Compliant Nursing Arts Laboratory; and Dr. Karen Raidis R. Marcelino for Structuring RLE Structured Plans for Levels I & II.

Key components for the proposed Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program were presented. These included the ASC Proposed BSN Curriculum and RLE Guidelines by Assistant Professor Marfred T. Sanchez; the ASC Proposed Admission Policies by Guidance Counselor Kathreeza C. Ganiban; and the ASC Proposed Nursing Arts Laboratory by Engr. Danicah P. Cadatal.
