Eighty-five interested graduates from Apayao State College participated in an interview session for the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) on October 10-11. Mr. Christopher Lu, Philippine Representative of TEEP, and Mr. Jacky Huang, CEO of Junyu Company, Taiwan, led the orientation and interview, which took place in the Multimedia Room of the MITHI Building at the ASC-Luna Campus.

Participants, comprising Education, Hospitality Management, and Agriculture graduates, submitted their application forms, which Mr. Huang and Mr. Lu subsequently evaluated during the interview.

During the session, Mr. Lu provided an overview of the TEEP, highlighting a six-month work experience opportunity in Taiwan that includes free lodging and meals with an estimated monthly allowance of ₱20,000. Participants can also explore during their days off.

Dr. Ronald Ocampo, Vice President for Academic, Research & Development, and Extension Services expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government of Apayao through Gov. Elias C. Bulut, Jr. for facilitating global exposure for ASC graduates. He also advocated for transportation services to Manila for the selected participants. Likewise, Dr. Philip Constantine L. Mandac, Director for International Affairs and Linkages, conveyed appreciation for the opportunities extended to ASC graduates.
