The ASC Governing Board concluded the calendar year with the conduct of the 98th Special Board of Trustees Meeting that took place at the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd)-Central Office in Quezon City, on December 18, 2024.
Chair-designate Commissioner Marita R. Canapi presided over the 4th quarter meeting with the presence of the distinguished members of the BOT.
One highlight of the special meeting was the Board’s approval of the College’s request to utilize its mandatory reserve fund with an estimated budget of 9.6 million pesos to repair and rehabilitate buildings and to replace ICT equipment in Luna Campus that were damaged by consecutive typhoons. These infrastructures include the following: academic building, ICT-MITHI building, RDE building, CAF building, fence, clonal nursery building, and the complementary food processing building.
The approved proposed agenda also includes improving laboratory and research facilities under the CHEd-initiated institutional development and innovation grant. In addition, the granting of the Collective Negotiation Agreement Incentive for ASC employees has been approved.
