In a bid to foster sustainable communities, and strengthen partnerships and collaborations, Apayao State College conducted the regular annual CSO Consultation on January 27 at the Conference Hall, RDE Building, ASC-Luna campus.
The Planning & MIS Unit facilitated the event, led by For. Hannie T. Martin, highlighted the importance of transparency in promoting good governance.
Key stakeholders, farmer cooperators, leaders and representatives of partner associations and organizations, barangay captains and their representatives in the municipality of Luna, officials and representatives from the national line agencies (DOST, DSWD, DepEd, and ENRD), PLGU and MLGU officials and representatives actively participated in the open forum facilitated after the presentations of College Officials.
Presenting the College’s strategic goals and plans were Dr. Ronald Ocampo, Vice President for Academic, Research, and Extension Services (VPARDES), who shared the development plan for Academic and RDE Services; Engr. Ariel A. Borromeo, Officer-in-Charge of Infrastructure and Development (InfraDev), presented the recent and future developments in the College’s Infrastructure and Facilities. Lastly, VP for Administration, Finance, and Support Services, Jemmarie S. Kotoken, presented the General Administrative and Support Services Plans, Activities and Programs (PAPs).
In her message, Dr. Nobleza C. Sadao, College and Board Secretary, spoke on behalf of the College President, Dr. John N. Cabansag, and the Board of Trustees, emphasizing the importance of collaboration. “If we are going to work as a family at Apayao State College, there is success. There is a productive result,” she said.
Dr. Sadao also expressed gratitude to the stakeholders, visitors, and guests, saying, “We at Apayao State College acknowledge your support, your guidance, and your assistance in the existence of Apayao State College.”
